Morgan was a featured actress on the AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. The proceeds from the film went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She serves as a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. Morgan has also led several other fundraising efforts to combat AIDS and testified before a specially-created Congressional Commission about AIDS Education. Morgan is a part of the Board of Governors of APLA, and of Amfar's Board of Directors. The former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop has been asked to substitute for him during AIDS occasions and has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Morgan has been on Nightline together with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan was nominated for the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. She co-starred in the ABC show Your Money or Your Wife alongside Joan Rivers. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zeerneck and Sertner. Marla Gibbs and Cindy Williams were also on the show. Her next film took her to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also on the set. Morgan also starred as the protagonist in a psychological thriller that was produced exclusively for the USA Network. It received one of the highest ratings that the network has ever had.
